Three Northern California Counties Get New SharePoint Child Care Portal
Jack Frost Design's Child Care Division (CCNL) has released the new web portal and 3 companion websites to manage the child care operations for 3 counties in northern California; Alpine, Santa Clara and El Dorado. This set of web applications coordinates the representation of services, registration of children and management of educational events across the 3 counties. The sites are all built using Microsoft's New SharePoint WSS 3.0 technology allowing for workflow automation, ease of maintenance and high security.

August - How to Redesign a Community Banking Site for Old and New ReadersLike many community banks, Sonoma Valley Bank has provided its customers with online information and online banking services for many years. But like many community banks competing for the local communities business, the bank management knew they needed an overhaul; their current web site was showing its age. As a result of JFD’s in depth analysis and on site management meetings, Sonoma Valley Bank has contracted with JFD’s marketing and technology experts to launch a new site this fall.

Santa Clara County's Centralized Eligibility List Goes SharePoint
Jack Frost Design's Child Care Division (CCNL) has released the new Centralized Eligibility List web portal for the Santa Clara County CEL. The new portal prequalifies parents based on location and income, then allows them to search for subsidized child care locations and programs based on eligibility. It also provided online application documents to allow for enrollment in the CEL list. Based entirely on Microsoft SharePoint Technologies the new web application provides a high level of security, workflow automation and the ability for the staff to update the site through a simple browser after authenticating.
